The Daily Wine Down (10-7)
RIP Eddie Van Halen
Eddie Van Halen, guitarist virtuoso, songwriter, and founder of the band Van Helen died after a battle with cancer. He was 65 years old. I knew of the band and of Eddie Van Halen himself, even loved some of their music (David Lee Roth era was my favorite), but I must admit I did not realize how iconic he was. I had no idea he was the man behind the guitar solo in Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”. May he rest in peace and deepest sympathies to his friends, family, and fans . (Rolling Stone) Tributes
Movie Release Updates
Most of the release dates for the big tentpole movies of this year have been rescheduled and ultimately pushed back until next year. There are still some big releases remaining on the 2020 calendar. But this is still 2020 so I wouldn’t hold my breath on any major releases this year, especially after the ‘Tenet’ miscalculation. (Deadline)

'355' Looks Badass
I am so excited about this movie. It’s a spy action thriller ala Mission Impossible, Jason Bourne, and James Bond, so it’s already my type of movie. But add the all-female cast (Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong'o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, and Fan Bingbing) and I’m automatically trying to give it all my money and a five-star popcorn rating.😂😂I guess I’ll have to wait until January 15th. Hopefully, it’ll be safer to go to the theater by then (doubtful, but one can dream). Until then we can watch all the trailers (including the one below) in anticipation of this kick-ass spy thriller lead by a kick-ass all-star cast of women.🔥🔥🔥(THR)

Marvel & DC Movies to Dominate The Next Two Years, If...
Marvel and DC movie releases will dominate the next two years. Some of the movies were pushed into next year, due to the Rona. Some were already on the schedule and have yet to be filmed. The big question in these Covid times seems to be can the schedule be maintained? Only time will tell. (Variety)
