Adam McKay Assembles Iconic Cast For His New Movie

Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill are just a few of the superstars Adam McKay has lined up for his new movie, ‘Don’t Look Up’. Not much else is known about the film. But I for one can say I will most definitely watch for the cast alone. (THR)

Mad Max: Furiosa Spinoff Has Its Cast

Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II have been cast in George Miller’s Mad Max Spinoff ‘Furiosa’. Anya Taylor- Joy will take over the title role, originally played by Oscar winner Charlize Theron. in Mad Max Furiosa. I was a little disappointed that Theron wasn’t going to be reprising the role, but this casting has captured my interest. I hope the plot and the script match up. (Deadline)

Grease Prequel On the Move

The Pink Ladies are moving from HBO Max to Paramount. I’m really excited that the series is going to focus on the Pink Ladies and not the T-Birds. I was less than enthusiastic about Grease getting a spinoff/reboot or whatever. Somethings are best left alone. But now I am starting to warm up to the idea??? Maybe??? Perhaps??? We’ll see. (THR)

Coming 2 Amazon

Coming to America 2 is headed to Amazon. The movie was originally slated for a Christmas release in theaters. However, say it with me “due to Rona” plans had to change. Amazon apparently bought the movie from Paramount for $125 million. The Amazon premiere date is scheduled for Dec 18. (Variety)

Dexter Returns

Yup, that’s right Dexter’s back motherfuckers. I heard that in Samuel L. Jackson's voice. Anyway, those who hated the series finale, which is mostly everyone who watched it, should be happy to have a do-over of sorts. Dexter is returning to Showtime for a limited run. (TVLine)
